"I've Got 99 Problems and Figuring Out What's Chill to Post on Reddit is All of Them" is a tee shirt project printed on 99 tee shirts with comments from the second (and currently) reddit post from the current CEO on what their rules are, regarding racism, and online harassment; this took about 6 hours. As a researcher, I selected comments that best respected the conversations, paying attention to date (selecting old, new, and somewhat stale comments), vote (high, middle, low), and comments that generated larger threads. Because Reddit does pay a lot of attention to their users but has nebulous rules and a very contentious body of users who are adverse to change, I thought the best way to understand what is chill to post on Reddit would be to immortalize the comments, ensuing debate, and discussions on the rules change.
